Counterweight Sentinel exists to publish serious commentary from writers who believe that civilisation, liberty, sovereignty, ordered government, free enterprise and cultural confidence are worth defending.
We are not interested in fashionable despair, managed decline or the lazy assumption that every inherited institution must apologise for existing. Our purpose is to provide a platform for sharp, thoughtful and unapologetic argument from the global right.
What we publish
We publish essays, opinion pieces and analysis on politics, culture, education, economics, institutions, international affairs and the broader questions facing the West.
Our contributors may disagree with one another, but they share a commitment to seriousness, clarity and intellectual independence.
Our editorial position
We believe that free societies require strong institutions, responsible citizenship, secure borders, economic liberty, cultural memory and the confidence to defend themselves.
Counterweight Sentinel is not a party-political publication. It is a publication of argument, judgement and persuasion.
